I thank the Lord for
He heals. My head is clear, my
throat no longer sore.
(See? It rhymes!)
Hello!
I feel drastically better today than how I felt yesterday morning and for the past week. This morning was amazing. I got really excited when I could actually smell my hand sanitizer, so I rushed into the kitchen to try some cereal I had bought a few days ago (WheatOs) and I was able to taste them for the first time! Mmm, chocolaty! It is quite exciting being able to smell and taste again. Seriously, try going 8 days without smelling/tasting. It's horrible. I never felt hungry because eating was boring (sounds odd, but it's true). The little things we take for granted are the things that truly make me happy! =)
Also, I finished and submitted my computer science essay!!!!!! And the final page count......16 pages! Yessiry. (To those of you who I said 17, there was a blank page attached...oops!). Yes, so 16. Getting close to the end of the semester though! I only have 3 more computer sci classes, 3 more blog entries (we have to blog for that class), and 1 group project. The end is in sight!
As for my other classes, I still have the 350 pages to read for English and write a 1700 words essay by Thursday and I'll have more readings and one last essay. For Museum studies, I have a group presentation/debate for Thursday (Thursday is going to be a great day.... -_-), some readings, and one essay.
And for the class you're all dying to hear about: Beer brewing, we brew this Monday! After brewing we have group presentations, one field trip (probably in May?), and then a final (NO reading!). So that is my semester pretty much. It'll all come to an end very soon, leaving plenty of time for me to stay here and travel!
Speaking of, I need to actually make plans for the other 2 weeks of my break. First 2 covered already by traveling with my MOM!!!!!!!! SOOO excited for that!!!!! Yes, mom, that means I DO miss you! (and everyone else of course, but you're coming, so I get to be extra excited).
This last bit is random, but I just realized that England (or at least where I am staying) has a lack of spiders! That is quite wonderful for me considering they're the worst things in the world...! but it's quite interesting. Crossing my fingers things don't change when it gets warmer!
