The stress of today
is only the memory
of a fading past.
Anyone have any good all grain beer recipes? My group needs to submit our recipe before Monday and apparently I am the only person in my group who is trying to get a good grade (I'm not saying I'm aiming at a B but I want an A, I'm saying if we don't submit a recipe soon so the professor can buy our ingredients, we won't have any beer to make...). The students here are sooo unreliable! In my museums class, we have group presentations next week. The only people in my group who have tried to set up a time to meet and prepare are my American friends (one of them being my flatmate). The Brits haven't even responded to that email either. I hate doing things last-minute. I'm doing that with two essays right now and it's horrifying. Seriously. My computer science class is taking the life out of me b/c the assignment is so horrible (there are a million complicated parts to it) and I still need to read another 350 pages in East Lynne so I can start my next essay (once I finish the com. sci. one first of course) which is due a week from tomorrow. If you think that sounds like I have plenty of time, think again.
UW-Madison has more homework in general, but the stress here is ridiculous. I can't wait for the summer. No homework, there'll be sun, and I'll get to travel. I'm thinking Bath would be a good place for me to go! Some healing pools would be perfect.
Have you asked Henry for a recipe? He brews his own beer. Email Paula and have her ask him.
ReplyDeleteAre you feeling better?
Mom
Mom, you'll probably check your email first (I wrote you more extensively), but I went and saw a doctor today because everything got worse today. However, I was in the office for only about 5 minutes (got 2 prescriptions and Sudafed) and it cost me a total of about £35. I think there's a way I can get reimbursed by the study abroad insurance office though. So, hopefully I'll be better very soon!
